Teacher Training

200 Hour/ 2017

Emerald Heart School of Yoga and Total Body Yoga are proudly offering a 200 hour certified yoga teacher training starting in January 2017. This 200 hour program will include all aspects of teaching yoga, including asana, alignment, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, yogic philosophy, sequencing techniques, teaching methodology and much more.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive training where each participant learns to teach a safe, effective and mindful class while also enhancing their own yoga practice, knowledge and skills. We support and encourage each person to find their own unique path with yoga, both in their personal and professional lives. About the Lead Instructor:

Mara Campbell, E-RYT, M.ED. has taught yoga since 2007 and has been a student of yoga for over 15 years. She has led 7 teacher trainings and loves sharing her passion for teaching yoga with others.

Mara believes strongly in providing a training that meets each individual’s needs and goals. She creates authentic learning experiences to empower each student’s voice so they can begin to develop their own unique teaching style. She is able to break down information into comprehensible modules and gives valuable insight into the art of teaching yoga.

Mara has studied Anusara, Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga and is incredibly grateful for her teachers and for yoga itself for putting her on a path to healing and wholeness.

I had a fantastic experience training with Mara. She always engaged the trainees in an open dialog and considered all our questions and thoughts care- fully. Mara had a genuine desire to make sure we learned and grew throughout the training. She has a strong commitment to yoga and brings inspiration and grace to the practice.”

“I hope one day to acquire all the skills Mara demonstrates in class: excellent cuing, dynamic flow, easily understood explanations and deep caring for all participants. Mara sees the best in everyone in teacher training. She focuses on their strengths as potential yoga instructors and gently encourages. You are in the best possible hands.”
