After almost two decades teaching indoor cycling, aerobics, and other group fitness classes, Page began to take yoga and realized she had found her passion. A family move to Illinois in 2007 gave her the gift of free time so she decided to pursue her yoga teacher certificate. Page received her certification from Moksha Yoga and then opened a studio that could offer a variety of yoga styles including hot yoga in Libertyville. From 2010 to 2013 she operated Santosha Yoga. Ultimately deciding she needed more time for her family than owning a business would allow, she closed the studio but continues to share her love of yoga through teaching.
Pageʼs teaching focuses on safe and nurturing asana practice along with, hopefully, some lighthearted moments. Finding joy, embracing fear, and gaining confidence have all been a part of her own practice and she loves to share those moments with students. Learning to breathe through lifeʼs struggles, to take herself a little less seriously, and to enjoy a good belly laugh have all been part of her yoga journey. She hopes you will join her on the mat and see where your journey takes you.
