Adaptive Yoga for Teachers and Students:  A workshop of discovery for yoga students with different abilities and disabilities, as well as teachers and other professionals seeking to gain experience with this population.

This workshop invites both:

- instructors (yoga instructors, physical therapists, chiropractors, personal trainers, etc.) interested in adapting their practice to meet the needs of all students, regardless of ability; and

- students with different abilities and disabilities to explore the possibilities yoga practice can bring to well-being.

Both instructors and students to bring a spirit of trial and error and open dialogue to help guide the process. Part of the workshop will be yoga practice time, including breathing practices, and guided meditation. A panel discussion will feature how people of all abilities have dispelled misconceptions and utilized yoga for health and in everyday life. All equipment provided.
