When practiced regularly, meditation affects the body and mind in several ways. Decreasing stress, improving your physical and mental well-being, and improving your quality of sleep are just a few of the possible outcomes.  Meditation is being utilized in increasingly diverse environments – medical, holistic, and therapeutic – as the research continues to support its wide range of benefits.

In this two hour workshop, you will learn the best sitting posture for your body, how to identify and stay with your breath, and techniques for how to quiet your mind.   We will be focusing primarily on mindfulness meditation in addition to practicing at least one alternative form of meditation.  Come see what the benefits of meditation will be for you!
